Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who is leaving a mark on the tiny screen. The parents of De La Garza were both Irish and Mexican American. The actress was born in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26 the 26th of December, 1976. De La Garza soon moved to Texas and studied the field of physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on different roles as an actor in local independent films as well as global commercials. Despite her small roles, she discovered her passion to act. The year 2001 saw her move into New York where her first role was on All My Children's daytime soap in the role of Rosa Santos. During early 2000s, her small parts were on JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her first major show was The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV celebrities like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable role was on Law & Order where she was A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. In the following seasons, she was a part of the Law & Order: LA film, a short-lived sequel. The character of De La Garza received numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She was also awarded ALMA Award nods. She was awarded an Impact Award in 2008 for her outstanding performance on an intense television show from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza got a reprise role in CSI Miami a few moments after. She played Marisol Delko and wife to the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. The most recent television appearance was on NBC's somewhat darker drama Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After two episodes the series ended up being cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her younger brother Cory is 10 years younger than her. She was raised in the family of a conservative and extremely spiritual. Milano started her acting career at seven when her babysitter accompanied her on an audition for acting. She was one of four girls chosen from over 1,000 hopefuls. Milano has appeared in TV commercials, off Broadway productions and in the American premiere of Jane Eyre.
